The Chairman of the Ad-hoc Committee, Honourable Ibrahim Al-Mustapha Aliyu, has reaffirmed the committee’s commitment to transparency and national interest, stating that the ongoing probe is not a witch-hunt but a necessary step toward building a functional and sustainable energy sector for Nigeria.
Speaking during a session with key stakeholders, including representatives from the Yola Electricity Distribution Company and Azura Independent Power Company From Benin City in Edo State, Hon. Aliyu emphasized the need for a comprehensive review of existing policies. He noted that the current state of the power sector must be looked into inorder to ensure efficiency and improved service delivery.
