Dangote Industries Limited and the Kaduna Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KADCCIMA) have entered into a strategic partnership to promote local manufacturing and deepen Nigeria’s local content agenda at the 47th Kaduna International Trade Fair scheduled to open on February 6, 2026.
The Trade Fair, which will be sponsored by the Dangote Group, is expected to be officially declared open by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and attract over 10,000 participants from across the country and beyond.
Themed “From Reforms to Results: Economic Transformation through Sustained Local Content Development,” the fair is designed to stimulate industrial growth, trade expansion and investment opportunities, according to KADCCIMA.
Speaking to journalists in Kaduna, President of KADCCIMA, Alhaji Farouk Suleiman, described the relationship between the Chamber and Dangote Group as a strategic partnership anchored on shared values of industrial development and economic transformation.
“Our relationship with Dangote Group is one of strategic partnership built on shared values, industrial growth, local content development and economic transformation,” Suleiman said.
He noted that Dangote Group has consistently demonstrated confidence in the economic potential of Northern Nigeria, adding that the Chamber views the conglomerate not merely as a sponsor but as a key development partner.
Suleiman explained that the 2026 edition of the Trade Fair will focus on business matchmaking through Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Government (B2G) engagements, promotion of local manufacturing and value addition, investment facilitation, SMEs financing, market access and strategic partnerships with major industrial players such as Dangote Group.
He added that the fair is designed as an economic catalyst aimed at boosting trade and commerce, attracting investors and promoting import substitution through local production, while strengthening private sector-led growth and the patronage of Made-in-Nigeria goods.
Describing Dangote Group as a cornerstone partner in Nigeria’s industrial journey, Suleiman called on the conglomerate to continue playing a leadership role as a mentor, investor and catalyst for small businesses.
In her remarks, the Regional Director and Senior Special Adviser to the President of the Dangote Group, Mrs. Fatima Wali-Abdurrahman, 

She said Dangote Group’s investments in cement, sugar, agriculture and petrochemicals have contributed significantly to job creation and government revenue through taxation.
“The Dangote Group has remained a leading example of how sustained local content investment can transform economies. Through strategic investments in cement production, agriculture, petrochemicals, fertiliser and petroleum refining, the Group has demonstrated the power of local capacity development,” she said.
A statement signed by the Group Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, said Dangote Industries Limited and other subsidiaries under the Group will headline the Trade Fair with a wide range of products and innovations aimed at boosting market share and deepening customer loyalty.
According to the statement, participating companies include Dangote Cement, Dangote Sugar Refinery, NASCON Allied Industries (Dangote Salt), Dangote-Sinotruk, Dangote Peugeot Automobile Nigeria and Dangote Fertiliser. Each business unit is expected to establish help desks at the Dangote Pavilion to respond to inquiries from prospective customers.
It stated that NASCON will showcase its full range of products, including salt packs, seasonings and stew mix, with packaging sizes designed to enhance accessibility and affordability. Visitors to the NASCON stand are also expected to enjoy interactive experiences at the pavilion.
The statement added that Dangote Sugar Refinery will display its complete product range, with sales and marketing teams available to engage customers and prospective distributors, while Dangote Cement will operate a dedicated help desk throughout the fair to attend to product-related inquiries.
It further noted that interested distributors will receive detailed guidance from Dangote Group representatives on distributorship requirements and procedures during the Trade Fair.
