The race for the House of Representatives in Chanchaga Federal Constituency has taken a new dimension with the declaration of Shehu Isah-Usman Dantata, who is contesting on the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Dantata has pledged to make the needs of his constituents a top priority if elected, with a focus on tackling insecurity through empowerment of women and youths and ensuring job creation.
Speaking in an interview with Newsmen at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja, Hon. Usman Dantata also urged youths to shun drugs and political thuggery, warning against politicians who exploit them during elections only to abandon them afterward.
“I will use my office to empower people and help them create jobs, I can assure you that I will partner with security agencies and community leaders until insecurity is completely eliminated in Sha Allah” Usman Dantata said.
Education, Agriculture and health are also part of his priority when elected, he urged the masses to come out en masse and support a candidate that truly loves them, someone they can trust to represent them with the fear of GOD.
His candidacy, is believed to be about changing the narrative and delivering the effective representation that has been missing for years.
