The National Chairman of Justice Must Prevail Universal Theocratic Eternal Kingdom, JMPUTEK, Dr. Olusegun Ijagbemi, has called on Nigerians to pray for the nation and its leadership amid what he described as emerging alliances and threats against the country.
Dr. Ijagbemi made the call at the National Citizens’ Stakeholders’ Engagement on “Supporting Our Troops, Strengthening National Unity and Advancing Peace and Development”, organised by Project 774 Network in Abuja.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Ijagbemi alleged that enemies of Nigeria, operating “under the cover of Burkina Faso’s Captain Ibrahim Traore” and allegedly backed by foreign interests, have formed new alliances and issued threats of retaliation against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the leadership in Abuja.
He, however, expressed confidence that such plots would not succeed. Quoting Isaiah 54:15, he said: “Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.”
He added that “the LORD has set an open door of freedom for all the nations of Africa” and that Nigeria’s salvation would come through divine intervention.
Dr. Ijagbemi urged citizens to adopt a posture of faith, prayer for peace, wisdom for leaders, and God’s protection over the land.
“In times of rumored alliances and threats, we must pray for peace, for wisdom for leaders, and for God’s protection over the land and its people. ‘If God is for us, who can be against us’ Romans 8:31,” he said.
He further stated that Africa is yearning for self-determination, justice, unity and progress without external manipulation, and called for discernment in turbulent times by staying informed through credible sources and supporting initiatives that promote stability across Nigeria.
The engagement brought together dignitaries, civil society leaders and stakeholders to deliberate on national unity, support for security forces and pathways to peace and development.
