Zamfara State currently ranks among the states most affected by insecurity in Nigeria. Despite repeated efforts, the current state government has failed to curb banditry, kidnapping, and other threats that continue to endanger the lives and livelihoods of our people. It is time for Zamfara to consider a proven leader with the experience, discipline, and commitment to restore peace.
Musa Yusuf Garba, AIG (Rtd.) is that leader.
A retired Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG Musa Yusuf Garba brings decades of firsthand experience in national security and law enforcement. He understands the tools, strategies, and systems required to confront organized crime and dismantle terrorist networks.
His record speaks for itself. As Commissioner of Police in Kaduna State, he confronted security challenges head-on and significantly reduced criminal activity during his tenure. His proactive approach, intelligence-led policing, and community engagement earned the trust of the people he served.
Zamfara residents who worked with him remember his dedication and results-driven leadership. Beyond policing, he has actively supported Zamfara youths by facilitating their recruitment into various federal security agencies, giving them stable careers and a stake in national security.
If given the mandate to serve as Governor, Musa Yusuf Garba will prioritize three things:
1:Security and Peace– Deploying professional strategies to end banditry and protect communities.
2: Youth Empowerment* – Expanding opportunities for employment and skills development.
3:Development with Accountability– Ensuring Zamfara’s resources translate into tangible progress for all citizens.
Zamfara does not need more political rhetoric. It needs a leader who has already proven they can deliver security and serve the people without bias. Party lines matter less than results, and the people of Zamfara deserve peace and prosperity.
The wealth and potential of Zamfara State should benefit its people, not be held hostage by insecurity. The upcoming elections offer a chance to choose competence over convenience.
For the sake of our children, our communities, and our future, Zamfara should give Musa Yusuf Garba* the opportunity to lead.
