As Muslims across the globe mark the sacred festival of Eid-El-Kabir, Hon. Shehu Usman Bawa ABG, the PDP Gubernatorial Candidate for Kaduna State, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah and the people of Kaduna, urging unity, compassion, and collective responsibility during this season of sacrifice.
In his Eid message, Hon. ABG emphasized that the celebration is a reminder of the values of faith, patience, and selflessness as pillars upon which great nations are built. He expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for the successful conclusion of the PDP primaries, which culminated in his emergence as the qparty’s flagbearer for the 2027 governorship election.
“This victory belongs to every citizen yearning for a new Kaduna,” he stated, acknowledging the overwhelming support he received across the three senatorial zones of the state.
Hon. ABG, who previously represented Kaduna North Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, highlighted his legislative experience as a foundation for responsive leadership. He pledged to run an inclusive administration that bridges ethnic and religious divides, restores peace, and fosters development across all zones.
On Peace and Security the gubernatorial hopeful said his administration will Partner with communities, traditional institutions, and security agencies to restore safety in villages, towns, and highways. On Economic Growth, he emphasized the need for Establishing agro-industrial hubs, promoting tech innovation, and supporting SMEs to unlock jobs for youth and women.
Also on Education and Healthcare, the frontline Governorship Candidate promised to Rebuild schools and hospitals to provide quality services for children and families. While reiterating his commitment towards Infrastructural Development Expanding rural roads, he stressed that driving urban renewal, and opening Kaduna to trade, agriculture, and investment will be among his top priorities.
Hon. ABG also extended prayers to pilgrims performing Hajj in the Holy Land, urging them to remember Kaduna and Nigeria in their supplications for peace and prosperity.
