Thursday which is the fourth day of action, witnessed the presence of more business owners, who are taking advantage of the number of spectators, players and officials who have thronged the venue.

Our correspondent who went round Thursday afternoon, sighted several business men and women displaying their wares.

Prominent among those displayed, were food vendors, who have been enjoying patronage since arrival of participants on Sunday.

Others sighted, included those selling sports wears, casual, corporate wears and other house hold items.

In an interview with our correspondent, one of the food vendors, who identified herself as Mummy John said that she has not regretted setting up a stand at the venue.

“We thank God that despite the economic situation in the country, I have been doing very well here. There are times I have to cook more than twice in a day to satisfy the demands of those coming to eat,” she said

Our correspondent also sighted marketers from several banks, wooing participants to open accounts with their organisations.

The Third Edition Customs Comptroller General Premier Volleyball League which commenced on June 13, is expected to end on June 28, 2026.

A total of 26 teams are participating, from all over Nigeria, 13 male and same number of female teams.

As the event goes on, there are expectations that the thrilling excitement fans are getting will continue.
